You want to become part of a startup that unites med-tech, defense, and aerospace? Then read the following: Many years of practical experience and clinical research in emergency medicine have proved that mortality and time to operation are heavily correlated. The longer the therapy-free interval, the lower the survival probability of the patient, especially for penetrating traumas such as gunshot wounds. AVILUS introduces a flight system that complements the evacuation chain's standard assets. It consists of an uncrewed aerial vehicle(MEDEVAC), a truck-integrated control room (PECC), a trailer for logistics and service (TROL), as well as a digital backbone (MEDC4I).

Have you always wanted to know how information finds its way through thousands of cables in an aircraft? Do you believe that one line of code can change the world? As an avionics engineer at AVILUS, you will develop cutting-edge airborne electronic systems that allow unmanned vehicles of several hundreds of kilograms to operate safely - even under the worst circumstances. You'll collaborate closely with neighboring disciplines to cover all relevant aspects, from supporting the system architecture development, including safety assessment activities, to safety-critical embedded software development for airborne systems.
