Do you want to work on a New Class of Drones? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.
To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for a dedicated Accountant / Certified Public Accountant (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date, either full-time or part-time. In this role, you will contribute your professional expertise and high level of ownership to the financial governance and continued development of our company. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and play a key role in a technologically demanding and security-relevant environment.
Tasks
- Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
- Consolidation of financial statements at group level
- Handling of intercompany accounting and reconciliation
- Responsibility for day-to-day financial accounting operations
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and clarification of accounting-related issues
- Preparation and submission of VAT advance returns within a VAT group (USt-Organschaft)
- Preparation of tax returns in cooperation with external tax advisors
- Acting as a point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities
- Participation in the optimization and further development of accounting processes
- Contribution to budgeting activities
- Support in financial reporting, business analyses, and management evaluations
Qualifications
- Completed commercial training with further qualification as a Certified Accountant (IHK) or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting or general ledger accounting
- Very good knowledge of German commercial and tax law (HGB); IFRS knowledge is an advantage
- Confident handling of common accounting software (e.g. Sage 100, Microsoft Dynamics) and strong MS Excel skills
- Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented working style
- Strong team player with a high degree of personal responsibility and reliability
- Willingness to undergo a security clearance (Ü2 – sabotage protection)
- Required for employment: Security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) approval (note: relationships in countries according to § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may result in a negative assessment)
