Do you want to work on a New Class of Drones? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.

Digital learning is at the heart of how we transfer knowledge and ensure competence across the aviation industry. As our course portfolio grows, we are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys transforming content into engaging online experiences, maintaining high-quality standards, and working hands-on with learning technologies.​

Tasks

  • ​​Convert instructor-provided content into Courses and Activities in the Moodle Learning Management system
  • ​Create new Moodle courses and categories
  • ​Upload, format, and organize presentations, PDFs, videos, and handouts.
  • ​Configure course settings, enrollment methods, completion tracking, and visibility.
  • ​Convert instructor-provided questions (Word, Excel, or PDF) into Moodle quiz format.
  • ​SCORM & H5P Integration
  • ​Apply consistent layout, font, and color scheme across all Moodle courses.
  • ​Use HTML editor for minor design adjustments
  • ​Test each course and exam before release to detect errors or missing content.
  • ​Regularly update courses based on instructor feedback or regulation changes.
  • ​Maintain internal content library and tracking sheet of published courses and exams.

Qualifications

  • ​​Degree: ​Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Media Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.​
  • ​Experience: ​First practical experience with e-learning platforms or online course development (university projects, internships, or student assistant roles). Familiarity with Moodle or similar LMS is required.​
  • ​Method-Knowledge: ​Basic understanding of digital learning concepts and instructional design (e.g., learning objectives, course structure, assessment).Awareness of SCORM / H5P principles for interactive learning content. Interest in technical training and aviation education is a plus.​
  • ​Tool-Knowledge (mandatory): ​Basic knowledge of Moodle or willingness to learn quickly. Microsoft Office / PowerPoint for preparing and adapting content. Basic HTML / text formatting for course layout adjustments.​
  • ​Tool-Knowledge (optional)​H5P, Lumi, or Articulate Storyline for interactive exercises. Canva or PowerPoint SmartArt for simple graphic design. Experience with video editing or image optimization tools (e.g., Clipchamp, Photoshop, or similar).​
  • ​Required for employment: Security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) approval (note: relationships in countries according to § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may result in a negative assessment)​
