AVILUS introduces a flight system which complements the standard assets of the evacuation chain. Consisting of an uncrewed aerial vehicle (MEDEVAC), a truck-integrated control room (PECC), a trailer for logistics and service (TROL) as well as a digital backbone (MEDC4I).

The interface of aerospace and medicine combines two disciplines with high-quality standards. As a quality management engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage a comprehensive Quality Management System aligned with EN 9100 requirements. For this, you will define and shape our company processes with the help of the PLM-software Siemens Teamcenter. With your expertise, you will drive our quality management, strengthen a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to aviation regulatory standards. This role demands your collaboration with all company departments, ranging from development and prototyping to flight operations, as well as strong project management skills, and hands-on leadership.

Tasks

  • Develop & Implement QMS: Establish processes, procedures, and documentation compliant with EN 9100 standards using Siemens Teamcenter
  • Change Management: support the teams to apply designed processes
  • Gap Analysis: Conduct audits to identify gaps between current practices and EN 9100 requirements
  • Certification Readiness: Lead internal audits, manage third-party audits, and coordinate corrective actions to achieve certification
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor QMS performance, analyze data, and implement improvements post-certification
  • Training & Culture: Train employees at all levels on QMS principles, establishing organization-wide quality awareness

Qualification

  • Degree: Completed or ongoing degree (Bachelor/Master) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable programs
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in aerospace and quality management
  • Method Knowledge: Expertise in quality management and EN 9100. Product Lifecycle Management, Model Based Development, Validation and Verification, EASA PART 21 Subpart J, ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-331
  • Tool Knowledge (mandatory): Siemens Teamcenter or similar PLM-Software
  • Tool Knowledge (optional): Polarion, git, GitLab
  • Employment Requirement: Security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) approval (note: relationships in countries according to § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may result in a negative assessment)
