Description
Do you want to work on a New Class of Drones? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.
Are you passionate about shaping the structural backbone of next‑generation airborne vehicles? Join AVILUS as a Structure Simulation Engineer and take a central role in bringing our advanced airframes to life. You will drive high‑fidelity FEM simulations of our structural components and assemblies, providing the analytical foundation that guides our design decisions from the earliest concepts to final validation. Collaborating closely with our structure engineers, you’ll influence the design phase with critical insights into strength, stiffness, dynamics, and optimization potential. In this role, you will take ownership of load case definition and loads engineering, working hand‑in‑hand with our systems team to derive, refine, and validate structural requirements. Your simulation results will be meticulously documented and communicated across teams, ensuring seamless integration into design iterations, testing strategies, and certification activities. At AVILUS, your analytical expertise won’t just support aircraft development — it will shape the performance, safety, and innovation at the heart of our airborne technologies. Here, you’re not just running simulations; you’re helping craft the future of aerospace — and your future is part of it.
