Description

You want to become part of a startup that unites med-tech, defence, and aerospace? Then read the following: Many years of practical experience and clinical research in emergency medicine have proved that mortality and time to operation are heavily correlated. The longer the therapy-free interval the lower the survival probability of the patient, especially for penetrating traumas such as gunshot wounds. AVILUS introduces a flight system which complements the standard assets of the evacuation chain. It consists of an uncrewed aerial vehicle (MEDEVAC), a truck-integrated control room (PECC), a trailer for logistics and service (TROL), as well as a digital backbone (MEDC4I).

Have you ever dreamed of being an architect - but not for buildings? Have you ever wanted to conduct an orchestra - but not an instrumental ensemble? If you got curious now about this job posting, you made it half the way, being the perfect candidate. As a Systems Engineer at AVILUS, you design and develop system architectures for our unmanned aerial vehicles in the category of several hundreds of kilograms and for our ground control segments. You’ll ensure that all components ‘play and sing’ together to satisfy the designated requirements – from customer until certification. In close collaboration with neighboring disciplines, you’ll cover all relevant aspects from safety assessment, and functions development, to safety-critical embedded software development for airborne systems.
