Safety Assistant​

Do you want to work on a New Class of Unmanned Aircraft? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing aircraft Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.

To support our Safety Manager, we are looking for a Safety Assistant. This role is well-suited for students or early-career professionals interested in aviation safety, safety management processes, and organizational tasks.

Tasks

• ​​Support the Safety Manager in ongoing processes and documentation  
• ​Assist in preparing regular safety performance reports  
• ​Contribute to the risk assessments  
• ​Support organizational and administrative tasks  
• ​Contribute to strengthening and improving our safety culture​

Qualifications

• ​​Ongoing studies in aerospace engineering, engineering sciences, safety management, or a related field  
• ​Initial knowledge of safety management or UAS operations is a plus, but not mandatory  
• ​Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style  
• ​Good communication and teamwork skills  
• ​Proficiency in spoken and written English  
• ​Required for employment: Security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) approval (note: relationships in countries according to § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may result in a negative assessment)​
