Do you wantto work on a New Class of Drones? Our product universe spans three differentplatforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristicdimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-rolerotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as thefixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. Allsystems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionicssystem for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, onemission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional mannedsystems. 

You will be the leaddeveloper for our mobile ecosystem, architecting high-performance applicationsthat interface with our Odoo-based core systems. Working in a specialized,high-velocity agile cell, you will bridge the gap between complex aerospace backenddata and the mission-critical requirements of our field operations. Your workis the primary touchpoint for our personnel on the ground, ensuring that everyinteraction with our drone fleet is executed with precision, safety, andreal-time synchronization.

Tasks

• Architect and develop native or cross-platform mobile applications tailored for in-field use.
• Develop robust API integrations with our Odoo backend to ensure seamless data flow.
• Implement offline-first capabilities to ensure users can document work in remote locations without immediate connectivity.
• Optimize UI/UX for rugged environments, ensuring high usability for users wearing safety gear.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of the mobile release cycle, from initial prototyping to deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Degree: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software  Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years  of professional mobile development experience, with a proven track record of  shipping complex, data-driven apps.
• Method-Knowledge: Agile, Mobile DevOps (CI/CD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Offline-first architecture.
• Tool-Knowledge (mandatory): Flutter, React Native, or Native (Swift/Kotlin);  REST/GraphQL APIs; Git; Jira/Confluence.
• Tool-Knowledge (optional)Experience with Odoo mobile framework, XML-RPC, or  aviation-specific software standards.
• Required for employment: Security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) approval (note: relationships in countries according to § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may result in a negative assessment)
