Manching, DE – 17.09.2024 – In the beginning of September, we were honored to test the Grille in various jamming scenarios together with the Electronic Warfare Unit (EloKa) of the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces) at the Drone Innovation Hub of WTD61. Despite multiple attempts to jam the satellite navigation (GNSS) and command and control signals (C2), the controllability of our second generation aircraft stayed uninfluenced.
The exercise was conducted with EloKa's CG20+ Tank and simulated various jamming conditions across different frequency bands. After initial HIL-Testing we advanced to secured hover flight at our pole test-rig which mechanically limits the attitude and altitude if necessary.
Next step: flight test in unsecured free flight!
