Feldkirchen, 15.07.2025 — From July 3rd to 10th, our rescue drone Grille took part in flight operations of ILÜSan (the Informations- und Lehrübung SanitätsdienstBundeswehr), a military medical training and demonstration exercise organized by the German Armed Forces.
Our contribution focused on the integration of Grille into the existing medical evacuation chain at the Casualty Collection Point (CCP). Each single of the seven exercise days - every day was a flight day – regardless of wind and rain.
During afternoon sessions, Grille 9X-03 and Wespe 9Y-01 were presented in a static display. Visitors participated in dry exercises being loaded into the medical cabin—lying on stretchers, interacting with communication systems, connecting to patient monitoring devices, and experiencing the remote monitoring process via live video call with a medical operator.
Our special gratitude to Lieutenant General Gerald Funke, Surgeon General Dr. med. Ralf Hoffmann, Surgeon General Dr. Hans-Ulrich Holtherm and Surgeon General Dr. med. Bruno Most. Other visitors from Sweden, the USA, Japan, France, and various other NATO member states also engaged with the ground control segment and the medical cabin.
