Manching, DE – 30.08.2024 – AVILUS, in collaboration with the Bundeswehr, successfully demonstrated the "Grille" rescue drone during a flight presentation for NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO). The attendees of the exploratory team (ET) focus on developing innovative solutions for control and integration of swarms, aiming to optimize operational collaboration between human operators and autonomous systems.
We demonstrated a rescue mission incorporating key components like the RAS-PECC and the digital 9-Liner via BMS. The 9X-02 navigated to the casualty collection point (CCP), where our team loaded the patient dummy and the drone returned to base. Throughout the mission, NATO representatives monitored the operation via the Battle Management System (BMS) and observed the flight of the drone.
We extend our gratitude to NATO and the Drone Innovation Hub (DIH) of the Bundeswehr for their close collaboration with AVILUS.
